At the foundation of my songwriting, I am definitely a ballad girlie. I wrote my first song from a place of heightened emotion—to the point where everything just spilled out—and that process has continued for the rest of my work as well. Given that all of my music is emotionally charged, I would love to go on tour with another girl who likes to make people cry while they sing along.
A good match for me would be Julia Michaels. She is so creative with her concepts for representing complex emotions that it is everything. Since I have a background in dance, if we could add Tate McCrae to the mix, I think we’d really be cooking with some gas!
I feel like all of our vibes are different, but similar at the same time. It would make for such a fun and memorable tour as we traveled the world, making people bawl and then balling out in our free time. A little-known fact about me is that I love hip-hop, and I feel like those girls do too, so we’d just get into so much fun stuff and dance.
