In this Dream Tour segment, the pop punk band, Capture This, reveals who they would want on their ultimate tour lineup. You can check out their picks below:
When we put together our dream tour, we couldn't help but share all the bands that made us who we are today. Panic! at the Disco would be an essential addition – their debut album "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out" was the holy grail of emo rock, and those sing-along melodies would keep the crowd's energy electric every night.
Mayday Parade is another must-have. They've been Alex's guiding light since "Tales Told by Dead Friends" and "A Lesson in Romantics," serving as his go-to musical therapy through countless summer nights. The way they've evolved while staying true to their pop-punk roots is exactly what we aspire to do with our own sound.
The Wonder Years makes perfect sense for this lineup – they're living proof that pop-punk can age like fine wine. Twenty years in, and as Zach always says, "The Greatest Generation" still holds the crown as his number one album. Soupy's songwriting continues to set the bar for the entire genre.
And we couldn't forget All Time Low – they're practically woven into our band's DNA. Andrew spent his teenage years learning every single one of Alex Gaskarth's riffs, and "So Wrong, It's Right" was basically the soundtrack to his high school years. Their journey from basement shows to arenas, while maintaining that infectious energy and genuine connection with fans, is something we've always admired.
While Panic! at the Disco has closed their chapter in the pop-punk story, we can still dream about the perfect lineup: All Time Low headlining, with Mayday Parade and The Wonder Years as main support. And us? We'd be honored to open, getting the crowd ready for an unforgettable evening of pop-punk.
Keep up with Capture This on their website, Instagram, and Facebook.
