In this Dream Tour segment, the punk band, The Carolyn, reveals who they would want on their ultimate tour lineup. You can check out their picks below:
If I could put together my dream tour, no limits, it’d be NOFX, Tired Radio, and Little Low. Three bands that mean a lot to me in very different ways, and all ones that would be a privilege to share a stage with. Fortunately, two of these bands are not entirely out of the realm of possibility. So fingers crossed!
NOFX
This one’s easy. NOFX was my gateway into punk rock. They were a band that instantly resonated with me — not just the music, but the attitude, and humor above all else. They’ve been a constant presence in my life since I was a teenager, and honestly, they’re still probably my favorite band. There's not a whole lot to say for this one, other than I'm glad I got to see them when they toured the South.
Tired Radio
Tired Radio is also one of my favorite bands, period. I’m lucky enough to call Tony a friend — and even luckier that he features on our upcoming record, Pyramid Scheme of Grief. His voice brings exactly the kind of emotional weight we were going for. Having them on tour would be the raddest of times.
Little Low
Little Low is one of those bands that just gets it. Their songs are catchy without being shallow, emotional without being over the top; they are in the Goldilocks zone of emo and pop punk for sure. Christine has a knack for turning really personal lyrics into big, memorable moments without it ever feeling forced. She also sings on our new record, which I’m still really stoked about. Having them on tour would make every night feel like a proper celebration of the kind of music that got us into this in the first place.
Keep up with The Carolyn at their website, Instagram, and Facebook.
